Blending ancient culture with ethereal landscapes and dizzying modernity, this archipelago of some 6800 volcanic islands holds a unique, romantic allure to those who have dipped their toes into the expanse of Japanese culture, cuisine and history. But what better way to immerse yourself more fully in the delightful depths of all-things Japan than by joining our Japanese lessons and learning the language. We promise it won’t be as difficult as you might think. Who knows, perhaps by the time you get around to visiting you’ll be able to recite a Haiku poem or order that sake with ease.
Hatchling will give you an intro into the Japanese language and alphabet. You will learn some basic phrases and start learning to read some letters and words of the beautiful Japanese alphabet. Hatchling will be the first step towards your Japanisation.
Chick will introduce you to Japanese grammar and give you the building blocks for learning the language. As well as grammar, the chick course will increase your knowledge about how to build small sentences, as well as understanding Japanese social norms.
In Post Chick you will start learning about tenses as well as beginning to have short conversations in Japanese. Post chick will enable you to increase your comprehension skills and pronunciation skills so you will be big in Japan in no time at all.
Our Autumn Semester Online Japanese classes begin on the following date:

Each lesson lasts for 1.5 Hours
Each Course lasts for 10 weeks from the start date.
Our online classes are held over zoom, and there will be a maximum of 10 students in class.
